Movie: “The Amazing Race” (2001)
“The best of the reality series crop is back, with 12 teams of 2 players each racing around the world, trying not to be eliminated at a series of checkpoints in which the last team to arrive is booted from the show. CBS chooses teams with relationships containing at least some tension, especially when the situation involves intense pressure. This season includes such duos as two circus clowns, a gay married couple, a father and son, a recently engaged couple, married couples, and best friends. Written by T.J. Magwire”

Tagline: The world is waiting… GO!
Trivia: Tian and Jaree (Season 4) become the 2nd of only two teams in Amazing Race history to finish 11th place and not be eliminated.
Goofs: Factual errors: When the teams are travelling from Argentina to Mozambique in the fourth episode of the All-Stars series, Phil Keoghan’s voice-over states that there are no international flights out of Ushuaia Airport. However, at what the on-screen caption claims is Ushuaia Airport, a Qantas plane is clearly visible. Qantas is Australia’s main international airline and would not be present at a solely domestic airport in Argentina (Qantas do, however, fly to Buenos Aires, so the scene was presumably filmed at Buenos Aires’ international airport).
